Building on the strong reputations of both organisations, the First Joint Conference will bring over 300 games researchers from all over the globe, together in one of the UK’s leading games design hotspots, Dundee, Scotland.

This city has long held a reputation as the birthplace of some of the most creative and ground-breaking games designers, and the Conference will coincide with the annual Dare ProtoPlay convention – the UK’s largest indie games festival – and the associated Dare to be Digital competition for young designers (www.daretobedigital.com)
